Life lessons from Leeza Gibbons

I had the fortune today to attend the Professional Business Women of California Conference in San Francisco. Many light bulbs went off (or “on”) today in my head and I am so looking forward to exploring the topics furthers.

One of the keynote speakers stood out: Leeza Gibbons. She shook some commonly held believes around and I would love to share those with you.

Work-life balance is bogus. Don’t look to balance your time. Look to invest your time.

Work hard. Care more. Be nice. Stand your ground.

Stand your ground. Play the game on your own terms.

Never underestimate a woman with passion. Nice girls can finish first.

Show up. Be there. Embrace the strength you have where you are right now.

Success unshared is failure.

FEAR = Face Everything And Rise.
